Through its Belgian Commercial Paper (BCP) programme, the Flemish Community can issue treasury notes on the Belgian market up to a maximum aggregate outstanding amount of 1.5 billion euros. The maturities can vary from 1 day up to 1 year.

Euro Medium Term Note
Through its Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) programme, the Flemish Community can rely on (sustainability) benchmark bonds and private placements. The Flemish Community increased the maximum aggregate outstanding amount from 10 to 25 billion euros in 2020. The maturities can vary from 1 year up to 50 years.

Schuldschein
The Schuldschein is a loan agreement under German law. It is not listed on a stock exchange. Maturities are typically between 10 and 30 years. Nominal amounts can vary from 10 up to 300 million euros.
